Founded in 2010 by Patrique Muhammad, Safe and Sound is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through compassion and systemic change. Inspired by his own journey, Mr. Muhammad—a minister and advocate—created the organization to bring hope, healing, and opportunity to those impacted by incarceration.

With a focus on prison reform, Safe and Sound supports individuals and families through mentorship, education, outreach, and advocacy—breaking cycles of incarceration and restoring lives with dignity. Guided by the belief that no one is beyond redemption, Safe and Sound stands as a beacon of second chances and lasting change.
