About Us

Founded in 2010 by Patrique Muhammad, Safe and Sound is a nonprofit organization committed to uplifting and empowering marginalized communities through compassionate service and systemic reform. Drawing from his own life experiences and deep understanding of social inequities, Mr. Muhammad—a dedicated minister and advocate—established the organization to create pathways of hope, healing, and transformation for those too often overlooked by society.

With a strong focus on prison reform, Safe and Sound works diligently to support incarcerated individuals and their families, advocating for justice, dignity, and second chances. Through mentorship, educational programs, community outreach, and policy advocacy, the organization strives to break cycles of incarceration and restore lives with purpose and compassion.

Guided by its founder’s unwavering belief in redemption and equity, Safe and Sound continues to be a beacon of hope for those seeking change—proving that with the right support, no one is beyond reach.
